Will insurance pay for my chair?
Will insurance pay for my chair?

This is for people looking for discounts and ways to save on the Anthros chair

We have not had a customer purchase a chair through insurance yet, but it doesn't mean it's not worth trying. The first step is to call your insurance company, explain the medical reason that you need a specialized office chair and ask them what they require to approve coverage of the chair. We have had customers use their HSA/FSA funds successfully by getting a letter of medical necessity and providing it to their HSA/FSA administrator. The HSA/FSA cards don't recognize our company as a medical provider so they have had to use a personal card and get reimbursed from their provider. You can find more information here: https://www.anthros.com/hsa-fsa . You can also look at your state laws and see if products that are purchased to help with a medical issue can be tax-exempt. We have had a customer from Texas purchase a chair and not pay taxes simply by sending us his letter of medical necessity. These are all ways that we've had people save on their purchase.
