How do I adjust my Anthros to fit me?

Updated over a week ago

Getting your Anthros dialed in takes about 5 minutes and makes a huge difference. Here's the step-by-step:

Step 1: Set your seat height

Adjust the height so your feet rest flat on the floor (or foot support) and your knees are at roughly 90 degrees. Thighs roughly parallel to the ground.

Step 2: Dial in the low back pad

Sit upright and gently arch your lower back — this is your neutral pelvis position. Turn the dial to bring the low back pad in until it meets your back and makes it feel effortless (or slightly difficult) to maintain good posture. If it's pushing you forward, back it off slightly.

Step 3: Position the upper back pad

The upper back pad provides gentle balance support — it shouldn't push you forward. Bring it in until it lightly contacts your upper back. If you feel like you're being pushed, it's too far in.

Step 4: Set arm height

Rest your forearms on the arm pads with your shoulders relaxed and down — not shrugged. The range is 7.4" to 11.5" from the seat surface. Most people land around 9"–10" for desk work.

Step 5: Choose your tilt setting

The chair ships in Locked 1-degree (Standard Mode) — a great starting point. Once comfortable, try the Free-Float Decompress setting for a more dynamic feel.
